Week 6-Transitions
This week's lesson is focused more on students in grades 2 and 5. These students are transitioning to a new school next year, without having toured the school before. As a result, I felt that creating videos for these students to ease their minds is the best thing I could do for them! Check them out below!

Communication- I Statements
I Statements allow you to communicate how you are feeling, why you are feeling that way, and what you need as a result of those feelings.
I feel.. *Say your feeling*
When you.. *Describe the action*
I need you to... *Say what you would like to happen in the future*
They are great for solving problems and conflicts, but can also be used for positive situations! The words can even be tweaked however you like.
"I feel so excited when I get to see you. I need to see you more often!"

Week 1-Growth Mindset
Follow up Activities
Watch the video below for some encouragement, because you truly can learn ANYTHING!
- Look at the statements below. Identify which statements are growth mindset thinking and which are fixed. Fixed mindset statements see talent and intelligence as something that can't be changed even through hard work and dedication. Having a growth mindset means that you believe that you can grow and improve in any area with hard work and dedication.
